Holi, the annual Hindu festival of colours, sets India aflame in a blaze of vibrant shades. The brilliance of spring is celebrated in March with huge bonfires and people taking to the streets to smear themselves and each other with tinted powder (gulal). i was privileged to be invited by the His Highness Gaj Singh II’s Maharaja of Jodphur’s to celebrate Holi in his palace garden .
